2008 Illinois Propane Gas Association propane appliance rebate program gives propane customers a rebate when they install energy efficient propane gas water heaters and furnaces. Rebate amounts are: propane gas furnace $400, standard propane gas water heater $150, and tank less or power vent propane gas water heater $300. Maximum rebate is $500 per household. Furnaces and water heaters can be purchased from your current appliance dealer and should be installed by a qualified technician.
